THE GALLERY: 'SUPERLUMINAL' EXHIBITION WITH CORINNE NATEL

In our previous Central London store, located in urban destination area of Marylebone, our gallery space hosted and showcased works of modern day art that we, casual art lovers, adore with the idea to present British and International artists, carefully selecting both established and up-and-coming names. We are thrilled to now open our exhibitions online and welcome back some of our favourite artists as well as new exciting names in contemporary art scene.

Please welcome Corinne Natel with her current exhibiton 'Superluminal' curated by us. Corinne is a contemporary abstract artist working with mixed media. A blank white canvas takes on a new form through the expression of energy and begins to develop a life of it's own and a new entity, aiming to create vibrant and emotive fluid works. The artist often works on seasons or nature based environments with colour, how colours work with one another and the colour relationship with the season or environment. Corinne has exhibited at leading art fairs as well as in solo and group shows. Her work can be seen in prestigious London hotels, restaurants and homes & offices around the world.

Our new 'Superluminal' exhibition is part of a series of abstract paintings made up of acrylics, inks, fluid paint and glitter. In astronomy, Superluminal motion is travelling faster than the speed of light. This series aims to create an energy and vibrancy that alludes to another world. The artist explains "This is quite relevant in 2020 and the uncertain times we live in, where we need to escape the current situation and an outlet away from the world as we know it, to look at things that take our mind somewhere else. My artworks are made up of layers of ink splashing onto the canvas. These layers on top of one another form interesting shapes and colours in which creates a new entity."
