DISCOVERY: DANIELLE COPPERMAN, AUTHOR OF WELL BEING BOOK

Danielle Copperman is a full-time model at IMG, holistic nutritionist and chef, entrepreneur (founder of quinoa-based breakfast goods Qnola), writer and first-time author of recently released book, Well Being. During her career as model, Danielle has become more and more in tune with how our lifestyle choices powerfully influence the way we look and, most importantly, feel. Trained in Strala yoga and holistic massage, Danielle has a hands-on understanding of the physical, emotional and energetic body and mind, and her work includes reducing stress, enhancing creativity, confidence and positivity, soothing digestive issues, increasing energy flow of the body and mind.

Copperman’s burgeoning modelling career brought her to London aged 18, and led her to wellness: ‘I used to eat really badly,’ she says. In between working, castings and travelling, it was getting fit for modelling, Burberry and Chanel are among the notable names on her CV, that sparked an interest in health and led to her completing a nutrition diploma. The blog Copperman started to record all her research took off and soon she was juggling blogging, studying and modelling. The launch of her own grain-free cereal brand, Qnola, added yet another string to the polymath’s expanding bow.

‘I set up my blog, Model Mange Tout, while I was studying nutrition and started posting recipes. I love granola, so I went on a quest to make something similar, with less sugar and no grains. I started experimenting with buckwheat and quinoa. I put a recipe for a new quinoa granola on my blog – it was super popular, and my cereal brand, Qnola, was born.’

'My debut book, Well Being, offers a collection of recipes and rituals to realign the body and mind, inspired by nature, modern-day needs and a variety of age old traditions from wellbeing systems from all over the world. The book combines all-natural, carefully considered recipes with simple rituals, each of which are tailored to specific times of the day, underpinned by the common interest in reducing the stresses of modern day life. Its main intentions are to reduce stress, improve digestion, enhance energy levels, improve sleep, enhance concentration, strengthen immunity, encourage positivity and reverse the effects of illness - all by understanding and utilising the power of natures healing ingredients and the potential of your own body and mind.'
